Hey all I have started work on my Land Rover Discovery 1 Trayback. It's on a CC01 chassis with a HPI 55t crawler motor, 3Racing winch, land rover tires, 90mm Shockers and springs all round, moved electronics to the rear tub bit, cut off the brick and other stuff :) Lots of chassis trimming etc. Can't decide on wheels yet and the later pics are of where everything will be roughly. Also my dad will help me do the rear cage. I am looking for an external fuel tank and a lightbar. Any ideas of something suitable? Heres some pics. More updates to come as I am only a couple evenings into this :)

yeah! I got my inspiration from a build a bloke did on his real disco 1. I saw it at the LRO show 2011 :) This gave me something to do in the evenings as well before I get an scx10 next week for my bday :) not sure what to expect but I can't wait :) thanks for the feedback!

God I love all the land rover builds on here. My scx10 kit is sitting under the tree waiting to get started on. The hard part is the day after I order a new bright LR3 I found a new bright range rover sport hse. So now I have to decide which to start first.

Good looking rig so far. Cant wait to see it done...

Thanks mate! I am waiting on a SCX10 dingo. Should be here in a week :) I need to get some bondene and plastic filler to attach the pieces of plastic together though and I know what the rollcage is going to to be like but I have exams at the mo (im 15) so I don't have the time yet. Can't wait to finish it :D

Update**

Hey will be fixing rear piece to the body in 3-4 days when the gluey/ putty stuff arrives :) Also I have ordered a tree saver strap, 4 x 3800mah batteries and I have a long tow rope to go onto it :D Next update in well, a few days.

It will be alot better with the axial setup!lots more flex, better steering etc, what colour are u going for?are u gona use the dingo wheelarches, cose the axial axles will be alot wider,so they will stick out past the body more

I know! I was considering it but I love this rig :) I was gonna go for maybe a bright white or an orange? depends on the wheel colour really? Also this will be more first axial product as the last three RC's I've had have been Tamiya. Interested to see what it's like :D
