Because I've developed a nasty habit of investing time and money into projects and making them cost much more than the original piece, I've started another project. I'm definitely the only one with that problem right? So far, I'm happy with the way things are turning out.
Made custom steel and aluminum re-enforcement plates for the top and bottom to replace the now unusable gigantic receiver cover that acted as the only chassis brace.
Fitted and RC4WD Rigid rear axle, Xtra speed scx10.2 aluminum kit transmission, vanquish machete wheels, Pro-line AT T/A tires, Holmes Hobbies Trailmaster ESC and 3500 kv puller pro. Eventually it'll all be wrapped up under a Pro-line Nova street eliminator body. Turns out the eliminator Nova is near identical in dimensions to the stock KORP, aside from being a little wide.
Still need to buy a slightly longer driveshaft, receiver/transmitter, next size up SLW hubs for the front (725 I think), figure out final body mounts/position, make final cuts and clean up the body, then paint.
