After another long winter I'm ready for some warm weather and to get back out crawling. I've started 2 previous China 2 Dr jeep builds. Only to sell them once they were like 95% complete. WTF !?!? So why start at 95% this time and finish what I've started. Can't wait, not gonna be my typical overpowered build. Gonna try to keep this one on the wheels. Gonna try to run it in class 1 with some different tires. Then run it in class 2 with the pitbulls

Looks like I've got some work to do and I've got a lot of wiring to do lol.

Gonna have to buy more batteries. The 1500s I bought are too big. Only the 1300 fits.

Got the body lowered and mounted. Ride height is about where I want it

Mounted up the fender flares. Servo and super lift steering link. Adjusted the panhard bar. Stretched the wheelbase to 11.4. Remounted the front bumper to allow some approach angle.

Found myself a driver today. He fits in it well

and here's where I hid my electronics

She's officially not a shelf queen. Ran my little ole 1300 though it around the neighborhood. Not much rocks but it's a pretty balanced rig for the weight geared it at 16/87 and the motor barely got warm. Meant to take more pics

Swapped out the Yota II axles for some RC4WD D44 axles. I had a extra set of Axial HD 38/13 gear I put on the front and 43/13 on the rear. Holmes lockers. Ordered some ARB diff covers for it. I'm still having some troubles, broke the ears of the servo on its test run. Here's a couple pics

Thinking its about time fora tire change.

How have the King shocks worked out for you? I've seen a bunch of mixed opinions on how well they hold oil.

I've had no issues with leaking oil, but the are to soft for a heavy pig like this. i need to put them on a stock truck and getting something different for this. otherwise, I got my beef patties installed. Ready to test this new setup out.

So after my other jeep broke I took this out and ran it. Always a fun little jeep to drive. Did really well with the cut boggers.
