Kits Paint Jobs

Thanks Damnir.

Yeah its Tamiya PS-52, its a bit tricky to spray, use 2 cans & lots of very thin coats to get coverage then back it heavily with PS-5 black.

Its a good match to the alloy rear link stiffeners & wheel nuts."thumbsup"

Theres some nice kits on here...lets see some more guys !!

Looks fantastic! My next body is gonna be this color.

Here is mine, I like the separate panels as it's way easier to paint.

Been keeping up with your kit on youtube. Look forward to seeing some running videos!

Spaz Stix Multi color Gold/Purple/Green/Red. I haven't painted a body in 14 years, all pics of the same truck just different lighting causes the different color.

Here's mine. I used a can of black plasti dip on the cockpit and a can of camo tan plast dip on the body panels. Painted the inside of the panels. Used a lot of coats.

I think it came out good.

Hang on...what did you use here? Regular plasti-dip? How the heck did you do that? Stuff is goopy.

Tried to replicate the style on the box... 4 colors black, orange, gunmetal, and silver.

Hey Seannoslo, really like your efforts there with the same box style and different colours. Think I'd like to do something similar when i do my kit but it will be my first RC paint job. Do you have any other snaps for other angles? Was it particualry hard to mask up for this style? Thanks.

What blue is that? Looks nice

Thanks. They don't offer a lot of colors but I have been using Kyrlon Plastic fusion on the last few bodies i have done with great success. This is 2329 Patriotic Blue/Safety Blue. A $6 Can could do 4 bodies if you used just one color compared to $7 can of Tamiya that will do one.
