Back in February I traded my homebuilt 1.9 Wraith for my 2nd Marlin, I've wanted to build the 4Runner but I didn't wanna give up the Marlin Yota body either so why not have two lol. I mounted up the new RC4wd beadlocks to the stock tires last night, prepped the body yesterday and sprayed it today. I used Duplicolor 1988 Ford Ranger charcoal gray lacquer for the body and Duplicolor bedliner paint for the rear roof, pretty happy how it turned out, I could wet sand it and polish it but I'm kinda liking the satin sheen it has. More to come, the usual TF2 tweaks and scale details. They did a great job with this body I have no complaints as of yet.

I used Rustoleum Matte clear on all interior pieces to tone down the plastic gloss finish.

Very interested in this build. Something I've been debating since receiving my mojave kit is starting with 4runner or just yota as I collect build parts.
It looks great and really liking the interior.

Taillights installed, really happy with the Tamiya translucent paint results.

Damn, those tail-lights came out perfect!

Got a few more details done, should have the entire body assembled tomorrow, I'm having a blast with this build, got to put in another order to RPP for tube bumpers and sliders.

Can't wait to actually get this actually mounted tomorrow and not just sitting on top on of the chassis crooked lol, anybody remember the paint used to tint model windows from Tamiya?

Man, that looks good Kincer!"thumbsup"

Interior and tail lights look great! Rear roof looks good with the bedliner!

Got my windows tinted, they look better on the truck than off the truck, I suppose I can live with them, didn't turn out as good as I hoped they would.

Pulled the trigger on some RC4wd front and rear tube bumpers, tube sliders, and a winch from RPP, can't wait to get them installed, this build has been just what I needed to get me going again.
