Killa Bee - First time building a kit

Don’t get me wrong there’s some massive talent on display over there but they do love them some RC4WD. Don’t see a lot of crawling/action shots, a lot of builds and styrene and sanding...I lurk for ideas but tbh the scale detail thing is a rabbit hole to me, don’t want to go down it except maybe a paint job.

I'm with you. Detailing is ok and all, but at the end I want a truck I can drive and roll over without too much stress. I used to build static models where I'd go ultra detailed so it's a been there done that situation for me.

Bring da ruckus!

White kid growing up in the ghetto here, I remember when 36 Chambers dropped, it changed the game. Absolutely sick paint scheme. And I feel you about the scale builds. I still have a stack of scale static models I need to build, been amassing a collection for the last decade plus. I like bringing a level of scale realism to my builds, but I draw the line at "would I lose my mind if I spent hours making this detail only to destroy it in a roll over?" At the end of the day, I like to push my rigs hard, and build them for reliability first, scale looks second. The TF2 is my favorite platform so far, but it's sick to have something with huge 1.9's on it to huck over obstacles without fear of undoing hours of styrene work and poorly-ventilated MEK fumes.

Thanks so much! Yeah I don't fret too much about a scratch and all that, if it gets ruined, I paint another body and keep going.

These are the latest I have taken of this truck. I added some panel lining and a few 3D printed details like the back window hinge. The light kit is from Club 5 Racing and has rock lights which is pretty cool.
