KCRC - Kansas City Remote Crawlers -

Looks like we have a local VP dealer. Hobby Havon wants to put together a "scale case" so they are looking for ideas for stuff that people will actually buy.

They just got a VP dealership and they are carrying some RC4WD stuff as well. SCX10 and Wraith are some of their best sellers right now so they are going to try to offer some upgrades for them. it's cool to see them moving in this direction.

One thing you should make clear to em is to keep the pricing fair.

If i have the choice of spening $40 at RPP for some knuckles or $50 at Hobby haven I will just go through RPP.

Tax and shipping on a lot of that stuff ends up being pretty close to the same. I will spend a lil bit more to have it right away but not much at all!

Must be all that money. You buy so much that you cant even remember what you bought. Oh by the way I finnished waxing your speedboat

HA! Found these in the for sale forum for $60, new unassembled with universals. I thought for sure someone would have scooped them up. There was a ton of people looking at the thread, I just fired that PM off first! Lucky day!

man you could have used those 2 weeks ago...lol

*edit* wait a minute, I KNOW you have at least one set laying around! Now 2!

you didn't have HD gears in that tank?
FOR SHAME!!

what locker is that?

*edit* shit I just noticed the sheared bolts...lol wow.

The stock gears will actually hold pretty well in aluminum housings. The plastic housings are the issue with trying to keep gears alive.

That was a Stage3 locker, pretty much shot now since the bolts are sheared off inside of it. Pitched it in the garbage. Really wish we could bump up to 3mm hardware on those gears.

Got muh stuff in. The Dingo is PERFECT...not so much as a scratch on the axles or anything! Also has the axial link upgrade which the guy didn't mention...so bonus there! The guy didn't even glue the tires or anything! I'm having a bit of a problem with the front lights but I'm sure I can figure that out.

Anyone have a 3 racing winch controller I can plug the winch into to see if it works? The guy wasn't sure.

As for the DMG chassis, I got it sanded and am starting on paint and polishing. Can't wait to bolt it up to the ridgecrest!
