So I just picked up a fairly stock trailwalker with a 4Runner body and interior. What are some good tips and tricks to look at things to improve it? I’m new to element but not rc.

I really like mine. I did high clearance links all the way around. Went from the stock 1.55 to Hyrax 1.9 with some inexpensive Axial rims. I replaced the stock steering servo with a Savox servo. Added a Reefs rc servo winch. I think I may have went to a lighter shock oil. Took the truck body off and stuck a proline not to scale Gladiator body on it. Oh I installed the front 12% overdrive gears that come with the truck. I left the stock 5 pole motor and radio and speed control. As for me they work fine

I got mine used. Has stock Capra electronics installed in and spring delete on the shocks. Proline 4Runner body and interior installed and 1.9 3 piece method beadlocks with r35 compound falkens. It’s actually pretty capable just curious to better upgrades. I didn’t know about the od gears factory have to look into that

The OD gears came with the Trail Walker in the box. Mine has external springs and if you remove them the truck bottoms out.
