Hello again !!

We are starting with public works, it will be a dump truck, but a crawler chassis, so I'll put the thread here if you don't mind. I wanted to have taken the DoubleE Volvo ec160c, I had it brand new in Italy in the store for 580 with shipping, but after spend this weekend trying others from some friends and making "diorama" in each of the friend next to the crawler circuit, and definitely, the excavator is not my thing, in less than 30 minutes I was bored of putting buckets, not so with the truck making trips , so I changed line and I'm going to build a dump truck, but with a chassis that allows me "something more" than the tamiya, which are very beautiful, but where we are going to go they will be somewhat "orthopedic".

It all started when a "bad friend" hahahaha gave me this Bruder cabin... :

The chosen chassis is the King Kong 6x6, full metal with crossbows etc and at a good price I think, I'll see the qualities, but what I've read in forums, it's not bad at all:

According to what I have measured, it should be more or less good, we'll see when everything arrives hehehehe

And for the tipper, I will also use the Bruder brand, this bathtub that I will adapt to the chassis, and the trailer I will use to transport a Bobcat that I will take to improve a bit as well of course.

And the bobcat that a friend already has and although he has to improve it, for the price it has it is curious:

at the end , there has been a change... it will be a Zil 151... hehehee

Some photos of how it comes:

The detailed leaf springs , a sheet of metal, the others made of plastic:

The links of the two rear axles:

The transfer and reducer , pinions and bases are metal with plastic casings:

Some of the center shafts , all metallic and with good appearance:

beadlock rims 1.75 :

And the axles, heavy, and although I will open them to lubricate them, the two rear ones need to be adjusted a bit, as well as the front one is super smooth, but I will also open it to control and lubricate. The front shafts look very good too:

And the instructions, all in Chinese, although with the measurements of the screws and the drawings it is enough to assemble everything:

And some tools that he brings, for the hub nuts and the scale bolts:

both sides of everything painted, I only lack the body on the outside

And the tipper has already arrived... first set, a bit long?

Then I have removed the front tie-down and the rear wheel arch and it seems that raising it a bit looks better (just what I needed to put everything on top of the chassis spars and be able to remove and put it)

how long do you see it?

Last test, from below with a lot of weight it is difficult to start due to the position, but it is the best place, the kipper did not rise so much vertically on the sides and they were very outside, so in the end I will have to design some rear fenders of some kind hehehehe mode
