I have been checking out Jesse's build thread on pirate so I can make sure that this buggy looks just like the 1:1. While doing some reasearch I came across a few pictures of it in the 2012 King of the Hammers.

It looks like the car has had a few changes since it was first built, I will be making it look more like the KOH version than the WEROCK version! "thumbsup"

Now Im trying to find more pictures of the buggy from this years KOH

Those are some cool pictures, I take it you've seen it in person then?

I love this flattie as well and I want to make it as close to the 1:1 as possible. I spent some time over the weekend drawing up the frame and made a few cuts. I might have time to upload some pictures tonight.

Sweet I'm watching this one for sure. I've been a fan of Jesse for over a decade. He's an awesome fabricator and a spectacular driver. I've seen video's of him doing amazing work on a crawler course. Can't wait to see this come to light.

FYI the buggy Jesse's running this year is a new build for 2012, the other was sold at the end of last year.

I do believe that the flattie on the crawler hauler was out for the 2nd time ever when these pics were taken..

Had a little extra time tonight so I bent up the two main hoops of the cage. This is my first tube build, I dont think its too hard. "thumbsup"

The rig he is using and raced this year at KOH was brand new at KOH, and is different to the buggy featured in the magazine. HTH

One things for sure YOU HAVE TO build the unique steering setup thats on this rig. Hes running in a specific class where you need a steering box under the dash so he's done some awesome bell cranks to get the steering up the the front.
