So long long time ago... i worked for a gas company drilling wells.. we was called many names and woman called me many names as well.. but ruffneck and rig pigs kinda sticked with me..

so this Jeep YJ reminds me of the ones we all had back in the days..
jeepv.jpg

Heres mine.. 1991 jeep YJ with CJ front clip, stock D30,D35 but with 4.88's, powertrac locker rear. arb air lock in the front... 2.5l 4cly. bored and stroked out.. just so much money in it.... its goes with the saying... holds so true... J E E P = Just Empty Every Pockett!!!

But here is the current build...

No build thread on it... me and "Kincer" Dave.. worked on it.. chassis was built total ground up.. i told dave the ideas in my head on how i wanted the cms, and links and geometry and he cut the metal and made it all happen.. body i bought from here then hacked it away into comp cut.. and so on and repaint..

But where we are now.. is total overhaul on the axles.. and new place to mount batterys.. 1st comp did not go so well for the jeep.. So i brought it home.. talked it over with dave.. Bent some boat sides up. to mount the batterys too.

then after the comp... the new HH 13t Motor.. is well BIG BAD AND TEAR SOME SHIT UP.. love the pure HP..

so to beef up the drive-line Comes:

Grip-Fab Spools and BEEF TUBES... These spools are very very nice.. i am just hopeing they hold up to the abuse of the HH motor and me driving like a mad man.. im sure they will.. NO SLOP at all... .... and the BEEF tube... well everyone knows where the beef goes:mrgreen:

So.. here we go.. Grip-fab spool vs Axial... notice the hole that the axle shaft slides in

With the Grip-Fap spools and the STOCK and only the stock gears there are 2 lil nubs that need ground off flat

But it didnt stop there.. got a new winch from buddy Kincer...and we all know how great the stock controllers are .. so i hit up "HeyOK" got me a new no drift controller... wow night and day on this...

but the Fun times just kept rollin... i called up my buddy Lue "mattzilla" aka my sponsor lol... i said bro i need some bumpers.. total custom one off.. he said check ur mail in a few days so thats where im waiting for the lady to drop me off some bumpers lol..

I just like to fab stuff lol, this Jeep performs very well, took some tweaking and cutting and tweaking and cutting but in the end it all worked out.

So today was a good day.. the new boat sides with the battery's on them makes the jeep alot better to drive.. so well balanced.. step hill climbs are a breeze.. the HH motor broke a link today, pulled the m3 screw right out of the link.

tho my bumpers didnt come for sat.. bummed out, but its ok. I been thinking of selling/tradeing it to start a new project. Its been a idea so if someone has any intrest in it PM me...i just love to build them

here are some pics. Dave(kincer) was the hilux in the photos
