The Karnage SSR-II Chassis is the first competition upgrade chassis rail available for the Axial SCX10-II (SCX10 2nd Generation).
  • Increased axle clearance for more suspension travel
  • Compatible with SCX10-II 2 Speed (kit version) transmission - mounted forward or rearward (Also compatible with 1st Generation and RTR Version transmission)
  • Improved upper link geometry provides more tuning options and increased performance
  • Built in shock towers - increased durability and placement options
  • Maintain your existing bumper mounts and location
  • Choose from two different materials:
Steel - 0.09" (a little thicker than 12 gauge) - Strong and weldable for custom builders
Aluminum - 0.125" - Lighter than steel, yet remains strong
(parts are shipped raw - unpainted)

Also compatible with the Wraith and Spawn Tube Chassis. Turn your Wraith into a SORCCA Class 2 legal rig. (Compatible adapters coming soon!)

Here's a picture of the chassis mounted to my Shop Rig:

Please feel free to post up any questions or pics of your rig sporting this chassis.

Do you have any pics with a Wraith chassis mounted? Just curious how things line up. Looks awesome overall. Very interested.

Not yet, but it will line up similar to the Original Karnage SSR:

I'm working on the install instructions for this, and after that I can try to get pics of the chassis mounted to the wraith cage.

what about the panhard mount?

You will have a couple options:

1. Cut the panhard mount from the stock shock towers & add a spacer to the panhard link to keep the axle centered.

2. Upcoming JCAD SSR-II Panhard mount that keeps the original link length and clears the servo horn.

3. With the Steel version of the chassis, you can fabricate your own mount and weld/braze it on.

Just wanted to share what I came up with using the scx10 ii axles and stock panhard chassis mount.

I ordered chassis last week and haven't received confirmation or received a response from any questions regarding these either.

I will get one posted hopefully tomorrow.

Well, almost a week late, but here it is:

Keep in mind this chassis is a little different from the production version. There have been a few tweaks to it based on the prototype.

Thanks for the pics. That will be very similar to what works for the SSR-II chassis. Although the shock tower was moved back a little bit, so you won't need to trim it as much:

still avaible?

Yes, these are available to order.

The email from Paypal serves as your order confirmation. I have the first batch from the waterjet on its way, so as soon as they show up here, they are shipped out the next day.

I have been busy with my 3 month old son, full time job, and prepping my house to sell. Orders will still process in the same time though even if I don't post on the forums as often as I used to.

How are you suggesting people mount the bodies being the stock shock towers actually sit directly over the frame rails, so cutting them and bolting them to frame rails forces you to have to add new holes to body.

Great question

The first batch of rails is in, and I'll be getting these mailed out tomorrow!

For the shock towers, really, you will have to drill new holes. For the SUV type bodies (like the stock XJ body) the posts are a set distance apart, so it isn't as easy as just cutting up the stock shock towers. You will need extended length body posts. I am planning on creating a solution that may work, but I have to test it out before I release anything.

Stay tuned!

Sweet!
Will we get a tracking # when our rails ship?
Is like to put mine to use asap. Ty

Yes, you should have received an email from PayPal with your tracking number in it.

I do still have a couple left out of the first batch ready to ship if anyone was waiting to order one.
