So, I purchased this bad boy from joshs4x4toyz, thanks bud!
and I'm excited. I already saw that the 3rd member has the small bearing

compared to my Hammer rey,

so that's first to get the SSD upgrade. At the LHS in Antioch they had a set of the pb growlers 2.2 for $10 so I snatched them. Ill buy the other set at amain or whatever . The wheels are that sweet, sweet $20 some aliexpress deal that comes up sometimes. 2.2" x 35mm wide, you know. This will be rolling stock
As Im going through the older threads I noticed that there aren't many pictures of builds left. So I think this could be the kit and may have some upgrades. Maybe I'll take it apart, what do you think? Here's some more pictures:Losi, or cheapo from china?

Lol, haha, sure appears so. No, lol, I have a small piece of that redwood mounted to a hinge on the fenceboard, effectively giving me a 6" ledge/shelf that folds up when the garbage bins go in/out. Better seen here:

Put the HR and Losi parts on, and borrowed the front bumper from the HR. Took out some driver and co-pilot heads that look fun.

So, this happened, because it just didn't fit into the hubs.

Not much happened to it other than it lost a bit of plastic and gained aluminum.
Now the body will sit a bit flush-er to the cage after I cut the small "nubs" off.

Must have been intentionally designed to grab rocks AND help with cooling, lol!

Ordered a set of stickers to put on the side of the body. Looks cool, and brings back great childhood memories from a TV show, although it was on a helicopter

Minimal progress, because, lazy!

Spent a little Duckett and picked up another Hw max10 brushless system in the 2400kv flavor and a better servo to steer this mean machine.

A few parts started to trickle in the mailbox, and once the gpm diff cup, and the alloy bulkhead arrive, I'll dissect the beast to add that stuff then.

Alloy servo mount and steering bits have already arrived. Stainless steel protection setup was only $13. That's worth just to try out for the front and rear pieces. I can use those on the Hammer rey too. Tested how the rear piece would fit. Not that good! The holes are not aligned with the axle all that well. However, nothing like a little bit of brute force required to make it fit.

Problem! The SSD alloy bulkhead i ordered for the Hammer rey doesn't fit. So its going on here. I tried, i tried, I measured, no fit!

Well, this guy has been getting some work done to the front end and we should be wrapping that up soon. All we have left to do is assemble the steering mechanism, and then attach both that and the servo mount with a servo.

Almost wrapped this up, until i found slop

in the steering mech. This is how far I got, and I think I'll put the plastic back in as the chinesium rcAwd parts have too much slop, maybe I'll try shimming it somehow. I'm getting tired of seeing it sitting here and want to run ot soon.

Looks great, but they do look surprised about the running comment. Maybe they were hoping to stay on the shelf.

Picked up some Losi Alloy rear shock tower(s)
for way less than the other aftermarket ones cost. SCORE!
Time to do some parts shuffling between the "ray's"
