It's been a few months since I've posted because my world got dumped upside-down...

Wow that's crazy. Very sorry to her about your wife. Sounds like you have some good support behind you. Take care of your boys and keep your head up high. I can't even think what it would be like if I lost my wife. Hopefully your boys are doing the best the can. Having a hobby like this can take your mind off daily life and give you an escape for awhile. Best of wishes to you and your boys.

amen brother. i have only been here since, well join date is dec '16, but in that short time I have discovered there are some GREAT folks in this hobby.
my tribute build recently took a turn that has proven just how great. its unlike any other hobby I have in that aspect.

really glad to hear you are staying positive. that's not easy.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I know we're strangers, all my best to you and your family.

Man, such a sad story! My condolences bud! Glad your back to playing with tiny trucks, its great therapy. Hang in there! Time makes it easier to deal with, and having a good positive hobby like this one helps as well. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!

This brings a tear to my eye....I am VERY sorry to hear about what you and your family have had to endure. You are in my thoughts.

Just read this... wow Mike, sorry for your loss. Hopefully RC can be therapeutic for you and your boys... But you know your RC Crawler family is here for you if you need us.

My condolences...
Unimaginable for what you guys are going through... Stuff like this I dont know what to say, just STAY STRONG for yourself and your boys... Now time for the RC's to come out..

We lost my FiLaw to cancer in 2010. It was drawn out but everyone was able to make peace and amends...closure at least.

This, not so much. I’m near that age and the wife had heart issues as a child. Nothing later in life but who’s to say. My thoughts and prayers for you and the kids.

So, so sorry...
When I lost my father to a terrible bout with cancer, I just about went nuts, watching my super man of 53 years dwindle away to a shell of himself. Died on his 77th birthday.
Anyway, a friend of our stopped over, and seen I was a wreck. And being the guy he is, he said "your the guy down the road, this time". I couldn't figure out what the hell he was talking about.
He said something like. Well I see old lady ???????? down the road died last week. And do you remember so and so just east of you? Well they found him dead yesterday...
Than it sank in. We were the one's "down the road", this time and it made me feel better, thinking I'm not the only one going through this bad time in life.
Sorry for the long story, just thought of what helped me a little, and it was just a couple words, knowing we weren't the only ones."thumbsup"

I hope you’re doing well by now. I just read this thread entirely. Other than needing longer shocks, and 4s, I’m warmed by the RCC family support. I’m happy you found your way back into your hobby. "thumbsup"

Happy holidays to you and your family. I’d say take a vacation, but your in the vacation spot most go to in the winter :ror:

When I lost my father to cancer in 02’ all I could do was apply more energy to my hobby/sport of choice, bike riding & nutrition. I left a lot of anger out there on the road and mountain bike trails.

"thumbsup"
