Imthatguy's Axial Yeti KIT Build

That sure is some super sweet tricked out paint it's just terrific.

Thanks!

Love the rig man looks awesome.
Not a fan of the beetle body but Hemistorm really made that look amazing!

I'm in the Tdot area as well in Mississauga. Any good spots you know of for crawling/bashing/stress testing?

Not really. I usually go way out of the city if I'm looking to play. Headquake usually obliges by offering a session at his place.

Well, it was a worthwhile experiment, but the Yeti showed a lot of weaknesses in Class 3 at the ECSC this last weekend. It's sadly, just too wide, too long, too low, and hampered by less than adequate steering to really make a mark in this type of event. If I were able to narrow the track width and shorten the break-over, and give the steering more life, it might do better. 19th of 25 competitors.

I wasn't able to finish a single course. I was toying with the idea of rear steer, but I might hang it up and just have fun with this rig instead. It was a super fun experiment, and I'm pleased with the performance as it stands. It would definitely play nice in a RECON-style event.
