If you like Moab, do something

"I'm the U.S. Rep. for New York's 22nd Congressional District, which spans eight counties from the Hudson Valley to the Finger Lakes region. Now serving in my 9th term, I'm on the Appropriations, Natural Resources, & Joint Economic Committees."

Stay there!

What is your take in the buisness of, and income of Moab and surronding areas?

"I'm in Troy, New York right now where I'll be joining President Obama during his visit to Hudson Valley Community College. I'll then have the honor of flying aboard Air Force One with President Obama as he travels to New York City."

Well good for you!

All that sounds like is a little name dropping to get some poor, under informed people excited about what your getting paid to speak about.

Take care of "your" states buisness.

DONE. Posted in the fans section, had to put my opinion up as fast as I could.

What buissnes does ****ing new york have with moab.

alreddy done like 2 weeks ago...

It really chaffes my gooch that some cry babies that prolly never go to these places can decide to block out all user groups except for hikers horses and losers like birdwatchers and frisbee golf. speaking of golf. **** golf.

As a constituent and concerned motorized outdoor recreationist, I am writing to ask you to oppose H.R. 1925, America’s Red Rock Wilderness Act of 2009. H.R. 1925 will designate more than nine million additional acres as Wilderness and unnecessarily close access to responsible recreation at the Moab, San Rafael Swell and Chimney Rock off-highway vehicle areas (to name a few) in Utah.
I understand the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands of the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources will hold a hearing for H.R. 1925 on October 1. I encourage you to let your colleagues on the Committee know that this designation of over nine million acres of new Wilderness will close all trails to responsible motorized access in these areas. The closure of these trails will be devastating to many friends and families who recreate together responsibly.
We cannot afford to close any more trails without providing alternative riding opportunities. Again, I ask that you oppose H.R. 1925.
Thank you for your time and consideration of this important issue.

Dear [recipient name was inserted here],

As a constituent and concerned motorized outdoor recreationist, I am
writing to ask you to oppose H.R. 1925, America's Red Rock Wilderness Act
of 2009. H.R. 1925 will designate more than nine million additional acres
as Wilderness and unnecessarily close access to responsible recreation at
the Moab, San Rafael Swell and Chimney Rock off-highway vehicle areas (to
name a few) in Utah.

I understand the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands
of the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources will hold a hearing for
H.R. 1925 on October 1. As a member of this Committee, it is important for
you to know that this bill will close all trails to responsible motorized
access in these areas. The closure of these trails will be devastating to
many friends and families who recreate together responsibly.

We cannot afford to close any more trails without providing alternative
riding opportunities. Again, I ask that you oppose H.R. 1925.

Thank you for your time and consideration of this important issue.

Sincerely,

Kenneth McGee
