Hello,

I am asking for your help! I am the owner/creator of the youtube channel offroadrc4x4 and I am wanting to make some new trailing videos within the next month, but I would like to film them in a slightly different way.

I want a 3rd person viewing angle from behind (Like a video game - GTA) but to make a mount that can do this will be very tricky, which is why I am asking for your help to make one.

I have done some research and the mount needs to be as light as possible, yet as strong as possible to hold the weight of a GoPro; the Axial's metal chassis I believe is the best place. If we were to make a mount that slides down the metal chassis (Similar to a tow bar) it would have best weight position.

I think the best way of making one if either via 3D printing or a cast metal one, if anyone can give any suggestions, know of any, or want to help please E-mail me.

Yours sincerely Erik - offroadrc4x4

Do you have a rough sketch of what you think it should look like, I have a couple ideas, but not too sure if they would be what you would be thinking of.

I think you could easily get away by building this out of aluminum strap and aluminum angle. Could probably get it done for less than 5 bucks with just a little creativity. There has been a handful of videos made in this way.

Thanks offroadrc4x4

If I go in my shop later I have a ton of extra alu angle and flat stock..and rivets. I'll mess around with it and snap a few pics. I got a general idea, don't feel like gettin sketch pad out though.
