The sun is out, it’s warming up, and I had the forest to myself and my SSD Trail King.

My What a difference a few weeks makes. No more ice, no more snow. Things are still wet but that’s okay. The crocuses in my yard are happy for that. I’m really happy with how my Trail King is looking and performing too. Pen springs in the shocks to give it a lower ride height and I think as far as wheels and tires go, this is its final look. I like the Pit Bull Pbx a/t for a scale tire. The tread may be pretty mellow, but the rubber grips really well. I’ve watched these tires grip and climb on parts of the trails I haunt where more aggressive (but cheaper) tires have struggled. Pit Bull tires for me. I’ve also decided to call my K5 blazer Trail King coleslaw. It’s lame but it’s green and white like coleslaw. I’m more of a potato salad kind of guy.

Music for this video was created by Erwin, a talented artist out of Toronto.

As always, thanks for watching. Stay tuned, and I hope you join me on the next adventure!
