I will assume that you mean pound in weight. Most sources that I found say that a dollar bill weighs approx 1 gram. (There must be some variation in the batches of paper that is used) So a pound of dollar bills would worth 454 US dollars. If you mean pound sterling just check the latest exchange rates on google

www.xe.com is a great coversion site. and as a guideline, if it is in pounds, it is almost always double in us dollars. 52 pounds would be about $104us.
