Anybody try one of these? Amazon.com: Butler Creek Hot Lips Loader 24211: Sports & Outdoors

I had seen them but thought they were a gimmick. Picked one up at yesterday's Gun Show along with another 25 rd Hotlips Mag. Took it home, tossed a 50 rd box of Stingers in it and loaded 2 x 25 rd magazines I n a couple minutes. Works great with round nose, stingers and hollow points. Well worth the 30 bucks. It works on any size steel lip magazine but the loader only holds 50 rds. I tried it on 25 and 32 rd mags.

I have 2x hotlips 25rnd mags that I bought and they don't seem to work for me. I hooked 3 of the 10rnd mags together with that little triple clip thing and those ruger brand mags work great.

Maybe its the cheap ammo but, I tend to stay away from butler creek after that.

You want those mags?

Never used the loader, bought two hot lips mags on separate occasions. Tossed both in the trash can at the range on first day of use. 10/22 with stingers.

Sure thing, they feed great in mine.

I have never had luck with the 25rd mags. Always seem to jamp in the first half of the mag, like the spring is too tight. I just have a bunch of the 10rders.

My son has 4 of the BC 25 round Hot Lip mags and 2 Pro Mag 25 rounders for his "tactical" 10-22.

Without the speed loader, they are a pain to load. Good investment IMO. "thumbsup"

Just took mine over to the big pond to re-sight it in after reversing my Red Dot mount. I realized I had one 25 Hot Lips and one 32 Pro Mag. I thought they were both Hot Lips. I also have a Ruger 25 that came with my rifle but the follower spring broke after 50 rds through it. Got to see if Ruger will replace it, but after taking it apart, I really don't care as it is a POS.

The BC mags work fine in my boys 10-22. They seem to seat better in the mag well than the Pro Mag 25 rounders. They cycle fine, but I don't care for the fact that they don't feel solid after being inserted into the mag well.

The Tactical Innovation 10-22 are awesome, as are the BX25s from Ruger.

These are the mags I want get him, can't wait to pick one up to see how good it really is. "thumbsup"

I have the Buttler Creek loader for 10/22, and also have one of the "Ultimate Clip Loader's" for my Ruger Mark III 22/45.

Downside to the loaders is that I burn through ammo faster :lmao:
