HobbiCo / Great Planes / Tower Hobbies

Lot of shit in that......gunna have to keep an eye on grabcad:lmao:

I think most people that actually wanted them though, would already have them.

Dunno what is going on there obviously, but some one has thrown their toys out of the cot, but generally you have to give some one that absolute shaft for them to be so grumpy.......

Can't conclude that because there are situations where people are pushed to the edge.

People that are technically brilliant tend to be straight forward and less political which causes resentment with others.

That's some funny shyte there.

Both parties just commit the federal crime of extortion.

What a crappy way for their employees to go into the holiday and new year season. Nothing worst then turmoil at work and worrying about having a job.

You guys have no idea how hard I will laugh in the face of every person that has ever justified their fanboyism with licensing fees if that turns out to be true. It will be epic, I promise you that...

Gotta disagree about this - Tower doesn't have much at all for crawler upgrades - I've regularly checked this list (for example):

"Axial 1/10 RR10 Bomber 4WD Kit Parts List" (contains stock/optional/aftermarket parts)

But, once you have the kit or RTR, they have very little to offer except maybe tires and wheels from a small list of possibilities.

You're like a bull terrier when you have an issue with a company... :lmao:

RPP has a veritable shit-ton of products for enthusiasts here, more than any other vendor.
True, Tower doesn't have a lot of aftermarket crawler stuff. For that I tend to go to eBay. Cheap, often free shipping, and it's at my door in 2 or 3 days.

:lmao: I don't mean to be a bull terrior. I just share my experiences and inform people. RPP offers great customer service and an extensive selection. I'll never take that from them.

I'd join that party! "thumbsup"

Imagine if there was an insta post questioning the manufacturing of VP products within America :lmao:

I know I met Tom, and the rest of the VP guys. Tom, as I understood it, was the designer behind most of the stuff, and a partner. From his posts, a partner who got ****ed out of his part by his own brother, and another.

We will have to wait and see what happens.

Not half as hard as when it's found out that the parts were actually made in china.

I also made it pretty clear that I order from RPP only when I can get enough of a price reduction to offset shipping, or get a large enough order to qualify for it free.

You're like a bull terrier when you have an issue with a company... :lmao:

I get annoyed just as any reasonable person would when it comes time to tally my total order, only to find that I'm $2 from free shipping and having to add something silly to get over the line...

I ordered from RPP this morning. 10% off coupon AND free shipping. "thumbsup:
