hmmm anyone tried these batteries?

I run them in my SCX10.2, get almost 5 hours of run time! They won't fit in my Bomber. I guess if you wanted to remove some of the cage you could get it to fit. Would only be good for crawling, only a 10c rating.

First link posted are 25C, 2nd link 50C...

1st battery states 109 x 33 x 44mm.

149x35x52mm is maximum Bomber battery size per Axial.

I doubt the second one will fit at 138.8x46.8x39mm ... too thick. Unfortunately. However, the first one at 25C if you are running a light rig at low speeds should be OK.

I'll have to pass, myself. The only batteries I may add to my collection are 1 or 2 "Shorty" 3S packs for my Ascender. Got 4 packs for the Bomber, and it isn't even built yet.

I just want to get good long run times out of mine and my sons bombers. I get about 35 mins out of my 5000mah 2s venom packs I had laying around. Only 20 and 25c. Running a axial 27t and ae5 esc. After bout 30 mins the esc cuts the power by 50% with 3.8v per cell left according to my charger.

That is TERRIBLE run times. Are you holding full throttle the whole time? Lol, even then that should still last at least an hour with that brushed setup. How old are those batterys? And it cutting half power at 3.8v isn't right.

My truck is a box stock kit with a ae-5 esc 27t axial motor with an 11t pinion (I just swapped in a 35t and 10t pinion last night) and a savox 1230sg servo. I also felt like that isn't nearly long enough out of a 5000mah pack. After it cuts the power I put it on my charger it is always in the 3.8v per cell and takes about 2300mah to recharge so its about half way. I know in my old scx10s I would get well over an hour out of a 5000mah pack so its pretty frustrating. My packs are fairly old but in decent shape. On takes .419 per cell (i can get it to 4.20 if I try) the other is 4.18-4.19 per cell

I don't see either of those batteries fitting in a Bomber. And I personally wouldn't use 25C in a Bomber.

My Bomber also eats batteries quickly. That's with a MMX, HH Puller Pro 3500kv, and a OnetoomanyRCs light bar.

I prefer Turnigy batteries and they have warehouses all over.

Going to 35t and 10t pinion will help with run time but I've never heard of an ae5 cutting power at 3.8v. My only guess is voltage sag hitting lipo cut at 3.2v then you stop and it recovers back to 3.8v. When you check the volts after a run, are the cells around the same voltage?

That's what I was thinking. My guess was the servo was pulling the volts when it 3.8. I just put a BEC in it to see if it will help. Servo is rated like 499ozin@6v

Still have the same issue. If I disconnect/reconnect the battery it's good for a while till I bind it up or go full throttle for and extended period of time. Should have 2 new packs on the way though. Staying 2s because I don't want to cut my son loose on 3s and since we have the same truck I want to keep everything relatively equal.

I'm thinking it is the esc. Just ran with my sons truck he had a 5000mah 20c 2s venom pack and I was running a 5000mah 25c 2s venom pack, both with rc4wd 35t motors (my motor is newer) with 10t pinions. His truck was faster, torquer, and is running a old exceed esc from his maxstone crawler. My truck doesn't care which battery is in it still has the same issue. Only other difference is my savox 1230sg servo and bec set to 6v. He has a savox 0231mg waterproof servo and no bec.
