The wife and I got each other trx4-ms for Christmas, plus a few upgrades. We will share our builds here.

I am trying like hell to ignore this truck, but threads like this are pushing me towards getting one.

Looking forward to what you guys do with them!!!

Looks great, but I suspect this belongs in the micro scale section ?

Meh.... most forums have rolled the M4 into the TRX-4 threads, so it works. Given that this is a 1/18 scale rig, it likely would get put in the 1.9 section.

You know you really want one lol. Just do it....get one, or two. I've got a bronco one and been itching to order upgrades and do something with the trailer.

I totally forgot I started this thread. A lot has happened since we got our trucks for Christmas. Me and the wife both put wheels & tires on from Powerhobby & Treal. Tires are RC4wd. Both trucks got heat sinks and treal diff covers, with pro light kits. Trailers have been customized with stained balsa strips around the sides and floor. I added leds to my trailer and a ton of stickers c/o ebay. Next up we have samix threaded shock bodies on the way for both trucks. Next up will be interiors and inner fenders.

The bronze Treals look great in the pics... but partly because the body looks more green than blue. Regardless... really appropriate choices for both rigs. Hers looks great too against the white body. I def like the look of the wood planks for the trailers as well.. Good stain choice. Both rigs are looking sweet.

FWIW- I see you have those sharp q-tip thingys too. I found em in the make-up section while waiting for my wife to get her war paint. Bought a few packs and I use em all the time for painting, adhesive, and cleaning projects with tight crevices and the like. They're great to have on hand.

That's a nice looking pair! Cool to see the wife has her own and enjoys the hobby.

Trailer looks great with the balsa wood treatment. Nice trailer lights too!"thumbsup"

Thanks! Yeah the wife is hooked on rc’s! It’s our thing to do when we have free time!

Appreciate the kind words! We wanted to make ours look as scale as possible. Those tiny qtip things i love for applying glue in delicate areas.
