You are feeling the difference between brushed and brushless, the transition in and out of drag is not the same. Try about 35% drag or go one tooth lower on motor pinion.

In the meantime, I have used three batteries with this incredible machine. The thing with the dragbrake has out on the track turned out to be unimportant. Anyway, with such a car this combo is really recommended unreservedly. Madness!

This is just a dummy. Aluminum tube and white heat shrink tube over it;-)
