Help me pick the right foams.

So I've finally weighed my TRX-4 Sport after all of my mods and she's 7lb 10oz with battery.

I'm currently running Pro-Line Krawlers on 1.9 SSD wheels. It's become obvious the stock foam is way too soft and I need to run something firmer.

So I've been looking at these foams.

-Pro-Line dual stage: It seems those are only designed for the XL tires like the hyrax and super swamper. Would they even work in the Krawler or would it be over stuffed or too stiff?

-Crazy Crawler Heavy Duty 116x40: These seem like they would work but they're "single stage" what's the pro/cons to this?

-Crawler Innovation Lil' Nova: They have a a few different cuts. Not sure what I'd need but I'm guessing mediums with a comp cut?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’d go with the lil nova’s. My truck is about 6lbs flat with a battery, I’m running 4.75 trenchers with 4.5” foams comp cut inner and soft outer up front comp/med out back.

They recommended stepping down a size, I have the 4.75 foams in my 4.76 flat irons and they’re a little over stuffed. They also recommend running a more firm foam in the rear. Depending on your driving, that may or may not play into things.

At pushing almost 8 lbs I think you might want to consider comp/med up front and comp/firm out back.

Gotcha so if I go with lil novas I’ll definitely step down in size. Thank you

So I ended up with pro-lines because my lhs had them in stock and boy, what a massive difference they made. My local course has a side hill section I couldn’t take a week ago and today I was able to breeze right through it.

Generally, I like PL foams in PL tires, those tires are usually on the wider side, and the foams are wider to match. CI foams feel much better in more normal width tires, Axial, RC4WD, etc. That's my general rule of thumb when picking out foams.

I'm not having luck finding CI 4.5 dual stage with medium outers in stock anywhere. What's the closest similar foam setup? Going inside some 4.6 Axial Krawlers under a 6lb rig.
