So here I find myself barely having scratched the surface of this fine hobby and I am a bit stuck. I have an old SCX10 that I got off of Facebook Marketplace for fairly cheap and of course like many of you I want to make it my own.
(Don’t worry. She has been thoroughly cleaned since this last outing.)
After spending a little time bouncing around the forum, I came across TheBakedBeans micro shark build and am infatuated with the final look of this bad mama jama:
Yes, yes I know this is a 1:20 scale rig, but dag nab it I want it bigger!
I would greatly appreciate your advice on how to convert my boring, old and dusty SCX10 into something as grand micro machine.
Is there a kit out there I am not finding like the micro shark but for the SCX10? Perhaps a 3D print file I could purchase? That’s assuming a printed chassis of this scale could handle the abuse. If not then tube bending and brazing may be in my not so distant future.
If you know of similar builds that are achieving this goal, by all means feel free to share them as well.
Thanks in advance for any advice you my drop in!
