Have been looking around for head and taillight alternatives for the SCX24’s. For taillights I’ve tried just red leds behind the lexan bodies but do not like having the light refract/defuse around the whole taillight. For the my Jeep I’ve now used this solution. They are 2 6mm 6v red indictor/warning lights I found on Aliexpress. I wire them in series so that they are more like taillights then brake lights. For the headlights I use a set of warm white leds. I prefer the warm white over the bright white leds. For the bumper lights I use orange leds.

for both the warm white and orange 3mm 6v leds

Would like to see what other people have been using for their lights.

C10 with warm white headlights, yellow bumper lights and mini red taillights.
Taillights via a 5mm hole and filed out to a square. Mounted from inside.

Well done! I like the taillights on both of them, the round reflectors are a neat change in style, and the square lenses work well in the truck.

I just mounted mine inside the polycarbonate, after scratching the paint off. There’s still some bleed through, but backed with black paint it looks decent.

Very nice setup. I was curious about a decent light setup. The premade kits are just to expensive.
