Hi! I have a Redcat Gen7 pro with stock tires, and the foam in one of the tires are almost rock hard. I’ve taken the foam out and rinsed it in water and that seemed to do soften it again. But why is this happening? Anyone have an idea?

The Gen 7 Pro has memory foam.
Was it cold when you noticed it was very hard?
Also do you have the wheels vented still? You could have gotten some dirt in the foam that was making it stiffer.

Yes, it was cold, but it is still hard after it warmed back up - and it’s only one of the foams. It looks all clean, and I even soaked it in water but to no help.

I guess it is a faulty foam then....😫

If it's still fairly new, I have found that they are fairly hard even when warm.
After a bit of run time they do soften up a bit more.
I was told that soaking them in HOT water for 15-30 minutes, then letting them dry will soften them quicker.
