Hey everyone, I'm doing my first hardbody, a Jeep XJ. I need an idea on mounting the body to the chassis. I kind of assumed it would attach to the chassis rails but doesn't seem so. Any help or tips are greatly appreciated!

From what I can tell it looks like you may have to remove the stock front bumper on the body or chassis for clearance. For the rear, just remove the 4 fasteners put the long end of the mount to the chassis rails, and the short end to the rear of the body. Make sense?

Right side up pictures make a world of a difference. Try to capture the body mocked up on the chassis. Where do the installed mounts reach to on the chassis?

It looks a lot like your body mounts up front are mounted to the hood? I think they attach to the front end of the body (think grille/bumper area) is where I've seen the short end of that mount go. Same with the rear.
As far as mounting, you will have to remove the stock front bumper. For the rear, just remove the 4 fasteners put the long end of the mount to the chassis rails, and the short end to the rear of the body. Make sense?
Awesome, thank you. I'll give that a shot.

You can always reinforce the hood and rear/sides and do inverted body mounts. You could probably even align with the shock towers.
