Guzzy the RED TJ Build

Tear down has begun, the trails at crawl fest were full of sandy mud and water...not a good combo for mechanical parts.

Those are some nice scale jeeps, I'm enjoying reading through your thread, really like your simple steel front bumper too. "thumbsup" Thanks for all the trail pics.
 
Hey nice jeep. I am building a Jeep like this with flat black paint. This has encouraged me to keep building mine. Its my first build and rc, it started life as a Axial scx10 Jeep Wrangler rtr . I am 14.

How did you mount the roll cage in the front?

The roll age is not mounted to the front. That allows it to move a bit on really hard impacts and then spring back.

Well good and bad news for guzzy1. Good news is it's heading to the East Coast Scale Challenge... Bad news is it will be with its new owner.

I had an offer I couldn't refuse and I spent this evening boxing her up. We have had some good times and lots of great comps. I'm sure she will continue to dominate.

Its always sad to see em go but it opens so much possibilities for a new rig!!! Cant wait to see what you come up with for version 2.0!!!!!
