I'm now taking pre-orders for GT3C's, they are indeed the silver version.

You can order and check pricing here

Products - OverkillRC

The GT3C is the updated version of the GT3B...it uses the SAME firmware (0.6.1 and newer), but its hacked abit differently.

The new advatages to the gt3c

  • Built in (w/ charge circuitry) 1s Lipo
  • Silicone hand grips (Small and large size)
  • Extremely light weight
  • white backlight (easier to see in daylight)
  • IMO, it feels like a higher quality radio

It still has the same switch layout, however they do seem slightly easier to push/control than the gt3b

For those whom arn't aware of the new firmwares features it offers

  • 2-8 Channels
  • About 60 model memory
  • Firmware has been tweaked to make it faster than stock through 0.4.1 firmware
  • Dual ESC mixing and 4WS mixing
  • MultiPostion switch-Offers up to 8 true postions, 8 postions in any order you want thats is cycled through with a switch
  • Extensive key mapping options
  • Count down and count up timers and a lap counter (could be used as a reverse counter or something)
  • EPA's on ALL channels
  • Dual rates, trim, subtrim, expo, abs braking, etc
  • Channel speed, deadband, adjustable low voltage alarm
  • Plus ALOT more

If this radio can't do something that you need/want, just lmk and we can probably get it added to a future firmware release.

Here soon overkillrc is going to start developmeant of a new add on board for the gt3c and gt3b radio for pc and mobile device programming and then we'll work a whole new supercharged gt3c motherboard replacement which will offer pc and mobile device programming, an ultra fast budget friendly 9ms latency module, high res lcd, telemetry, add on ports for more switches and other future overkill hop ups.

Have you come up w the setup instructions to program channels now? I'm just about ready to set mine up.

I'm thinking 6 channels to start. Throttle, steering, fr winch, rr steer, rr winch, 2 pos for 2 speed tranny

Nice work! For anyone who hasn't dealt with LosiKid yet, he's top notch. I purchased a programmer kit and a bunch of stuff for my GT3B and shipping was fast.

Just curious, I read that it has a USB cord for charging.. Could I use my cube from my Blackberry or iPhone and then use it as a wall charger?

You can charge the gt3c with a wall charger if thats what your asking...it uses a mini usb

I was looking at your site and you have flashed ones and ones flashed and with programming port installed. How are you flashing them without the port installed?

Oh sure, now they are ready to go! Damn, if you would have had these two weeks ago I wouldn't have pulled the trigger on a DX3C. I presume your supplier got all the problems fixed that kept you from wanting to sell any of these like you described in your email to me?

I'm told the issue is fixed

Well, I am still going to need another radio/receiver for my tuber. So maybe I will look you up when it's time.

He opens them up to access the the pinouts neccessary to flash them then closes them back up, and by special equipment he means the same kit hes selling lol.
