ive got an axial scxHoncho that ive converted to a 2 door, class 2 jeep,
well i just got a gopro motorsports and was wondering, where is the best place to mount a gopro on my jeep?

i figure the hood but is there any where better? i have a roof rack so the top is kinda out of question not to mention the top heaviness that would create..

any body tried making it fit inside looking out the windshield?

please share your ideas of where you think its best placed.
pics would be a plus

thank you in advance

Some of the coolest videos I've seen have the camera point in a direction that you would not think would be cool, like facing backwards at another rig behind you, our off to the side as if you were the passenger looking out the side of the jeep.

Everyone does the "hood looking forward" P.O.V. My advise is to be unique with your angles and point of views.

Lastly, post'em up when their done!!

Have fun,

One of the local guys puts his right in the passanger seat of his wraith. It fit pretty nicely with the little stand/platform.
I think it would be cool to see through the windshield and have the hood in the video.

Also.. Ive seen people mount it on the door facing forward so you could see the steering/suspension working. That was pretty cool.

ggod ideas guys keep em comin, im definatly gonna have to play around with the angled mount inside my jeep
i just got rid of my wraith bout a week ago, so im now a lone wolf until i can get a few buddies to get a crawler, they want em just wont buy em:roll: lol

ill have a youtube link up soon or you could look up ovyoungster i have a couple okay vids up right now. but theyre not with a gopro..
(iphone3g, Sony cyber shot, and an iphone 4)

You've got to be careful but one of my favorites spots is taped to the side of the rear fender behind the rear wheel. That way you can see ahead as well as rear and front articulation. Obviously havin the camera hangin off the side can pose a problem with clearing rocks and such. Still a great angle tho.....
