GCM Upgrades for Vaterra Twin Hammer

Lots of room under the new hood, but I can't show that off yet!

We are going to release a new all BLACK front tower plate mid August also. Stay tuned for pics shortly.

The new hood is here, with some minor changes. I'll try to get them all fit in and ready in the short term and get some pictures up for y'all. "thumbsup" For now, here's some prototype pics.

The black tower plates I HAD in stock are already gone, so I'll make more and they will ship every couple of days until I get some more larger stock levels to ship daily.

My friend here has a shorty pack, I'll see if it's going to work and get some pictures up. I'm sure it will, because Ryan has one in his hammer also.
More updates later!

All the current orders have been shipped and we have a couple left in stock ready to go. After those are out, it takes about 2 weeks to get a new batch in house at GCM.
Thanks!

thanks for the update im surprised i haven't seen anyone talk about the hood on here much. Also do you plan on making a youtube video for the hood also?

You could try dying it, but the max temp on these should be around 170f... so I think a hard boiling is out.

well I have been doing some research, h, I am going to try and dye the roof, I think if I get the water and dye hot not boiling, and let it steep for a couple hours it will work, I will post a pic if it works. If not I will have to paint it.
"thumbsup"

I'm looking forward to hearing the results! The material is straight nylon, so it should work.

It worked....you can dye the plastic/nylon
I used a entire bottle of black RIT dye and enough water to cover the roof, in a old pot get the water mixture just at boiling and reduced the heat to Med. then cooked it for about 2 hours....turned out pretty good..."thumbsup"
