Gas Price Info/ sent to me/take a look

So whats the difference between wisdom and knowledge, other then the fact that generally only older people are allowed to have wisdom?

And I'd start caring about my political opinion if I were you-some day when your old and crapping your pants some kid like me will be deciding if it would be a wise idea to save the energy and pull you plug "thumbsup"

Knowledge is something that can be gained from books, internet, teachers, etc. Wisdom is knowledge that is gained by age/life's experience. It cannot be learned in a book, internet etc.
So to give a short answer,
Knowledge= learned by book, teachers, etc.
Wisdom= accumlated knowledge learned only by age/life's experience.

One of the bits of wisdom I've learned over the years is, unless you make it to be the president, or a very powerful senator/congressman, you won't be making any decisions that affect me. The citizen voter has about 0 power in govenrment decision making. Politicians say what people want to hear to get elected, but do whatever they wish when they get in office, either party.

And wow! you remembered gas prices in 1993 when you were 2 years old?
I highly doubt they're is a 2 year old alive today that knows anything about, or gives a flying fawk about gas prices. I would venture to bet, that most are thinking about playing in the sand box, or with their new Fisher Price toy more then what the price of gas is.

But your political decisions WILL effect ME-thats why I want you to care what my opinion is, because I'm going to eventually be stuck with whatever your generation decides and you haven't done a very good job thus far. Your generation has disrupted the global climate, raised gas prices to record heights, started several wars and not really solved any of the problems here at home, and the ones that you did solve you eventually screwed up again or are well on your way to screwing up again. Just because I'm not going to be deciding what happens doesn't mean I'm not going to be effected by it-thats why you should care about my opinion.

Lol

Republicans think they can change the world by yelling on an internet forum for rc rock crawlers and telling one of the most spun stories I have ever heard "thumbsup"

Hmm...a car company makes an electric car that goes 200mph and goes 250 miles per charge and YOUR yelling about the dems not wanting to dig up the ol black gold...Does anyone else see a problem here or am I the only sane one in the room?

Whoever wrote that was trying to smear the democrats for the upcoming election. I don't care what side you sit on, you can't ever trust anyone with a political agenda about stuff like this. Try reading this, maybe it will help you understand why prices are really going up, and opening protected reserves won't make much difference

Just a reminder, this was sent to me, I did not write anything in this thread except the header. Don't make assumptions of my allegiance or belief on this subject. I put it up for debate and discussion, which is what is happening.

This I find funny. We the people have no power over what our government does with this country, no matter what you might think. Until we all ban together to overthrow our gov., which I don't see ever happening, this lack of power will continue to be.

OUR generation, try the generation or 2 before ours, our generation has tried to eliminate some of the damage done by previous gens, like eliminating voc's, polluting the air and environment, lead, trying to reduce our dependency on oil, blah blah blah.

GLOBAL, do you have any clue as to which countries pollute the atmosphere the most, I don't think it is the US.

GAS PRICES, if we the people had any control over this, the prices would be lower, duh.

WARS, now that is just an ignorant statement there, how many of us US citizens do you think started or wanted to start a war. Do you get to vote on these wars, I don't think so?

I think most responsible adults care for their kids and the youth of today and want there to be a clean, safe, affordable future available to them. But there is only so much we can do with the power supposedly given unto us to control our lame ass gov..

You will come to understand this, when your old enough to be given a chance to supposedly change things for the better, like many of us have done or tried to do. Until then, you might try being a little more open minded, and stop blaming your parents and their gen. for every problem that exists in the world, considering they and we, had very little choice but to accept these matters.

Do I think it should be this way, of course not. But until all the people group together to demand a change, things will stay the same as always.

We are little ants, so dang busy, building our tunnels of life.

Statements like this are going to force me to retract my previous comment about you.

You cant be serious with this. Our generation is currently fixing the problems caused by your parent's generation. Cleaning up their environmental problems, their political problems, their medical problems. Gas prices will rise...that is supply and demand. The earth's climate changes, whether or not man exists (pay more attention in science class).

You will be affected by the decisions made by our government....that is why you need to gather all of the information you can (not just from one side) and make some informed decisions.
