Forest Falls Scale Challenge September 15th

Skerb, I am in for class 2 with the updated Honcho. Wilbywise, I gave RPP some money after seeing your Honcho. Bumpers, battery plate and links. And the drive shaft now have carbon tube inserts, no more twisted shafts.

Ahhh yes the ole RPP site got another one haha! They do have such a nice selection and carry a variety of vendors on the forums as well! I am quite interested in this carbon tube insert you speak of, then again (knocking on wood) I have not broken a shaft so far.

The only thing I found with the battery plate is that I will have to run a smaller battery, trim the heck out of the interior kit or remove the interior. For right now I'm going with removing it.

So is it just based on points similar to a comp crawler event or is there a fastest time sort of deal. Going to try and bring my topkick. After reading your class rules I think it will be considered a class 3. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Based solely on points, but there will be a reasonable time limit placed on each course. Look forward to seeing you there!

Can't make this one..! I have a lot of stuff going on this weekend at home. I know y'all will have a blast this weekend and see y'all at the next one!

Yeah it is definitely a wet course, but only as deep/wet as you want to make it! Again, the real test way if this rig was going to ever work again since the last comp. I think I have rusted every bolt on this truck from scuba diving 2ft under, nothing wd40 wont fix though! Get your water balloons or plasti-dip / Ive seen things about the neverwet but have not tried it yet. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/electronics/458385-neverwet-live-demo-scx10-ae2-bec-rx.html

Never wet is the real deal. I sprayed my winch controller and then held it under the sink to test. Water literally jumped off not getting wet at all. good stuff"thumbsup"
