Hi,
some more info and pics from FMS FB page:

- 2-speed (4 km/h, 8 km/h, switchable by remote)
- independently switchable lights
- leafsprings

Looking forward to again having to spend some money ;)

In relation to the answer here, it looks like FMS already has a trailer ready for the new 1/12 as well.

Wow, rather expensive on BG:

But since Asiatees is for sure with super expensive customs for us here in my country (because of Lipo and shipping options), with some BG points probably cheaper for me; do not trust Aliexpress, so will preorder on Banggood.

Hi,
there is a new 2 battery version listed now on Banggood. Same price as the 1 Lipo version was before (when I had ordered  ), but more expensive shipping (to EU).

Only small 380 mAh 2s Lipo, as in the Patriot, not 600 mAh as in the 1/18 Hobby Plus CR-18, Katana, Atlas:

Same "Losi-style" plugs as in the others, so probably same 2-in-1 RX/ESC unit as in the other Hobby Plus trucks, probably loud ;)

And the 1 Lipo version is 5 bucks cheaper now - so I paid 5 bucks more for preordering too much ;) .... oh Banggood....

Also have used nearly all my points, luckily I had a ton.

Walter we are in the same boat, I have also seen it has become cheaper already. Hope there will be loose batteries for sale

Hi,
hood for the 1/12 Willys

Finally mine arrived yesterday after staying much too long (over the weekend) in Belgium...

I LOVE it.
It is absolutely awesome.
Controller quite complicated with a lot of functions (light, different modes).
Real (plastic) beadlock wheels, ... "blinker" (red) can be switched off by radio.
Top climbing abilities!

All in all: Only negative I found is the poor steering radius. (and maybe the price).

First look video (still uploading):

Absolutely love it so far

Nice unboxing video "thumbsup"

I don't think there's more to be expected about steering ... the chassis is more scale, so wider with leaf springs, there shouldn't be much room for the wheels to steer ... which is good as the 1:1 doesn't have a great steering angle either.

Steering angle is somewhat small but I think it just make it more fun to get it around.
Unfortunately I have just been told my ordered driver have been postponed again :-(
