I bought these for my 4 year old sons for Xmas, and they love them. They've probably driven them every day for at least 20 minutes.

They've each been driving RC cars for about a year. But they're still 4 year olds. They drive them recklessly, mash the throttle and plow over whatever is front of them. These little Broncos have been great so far.

The only change I've made is painting the wheels to match the bodies.

I used Krylon Fusion, as that's my go-to plastic paint.

My more reckless son stripped out the gears on his steering servo. My LHS didn't have a Traxxas 2065 in stock, but they had this for $15:

It almost bolts right in. I had to use the servo horn it came with, as the stock Traxxas servo horn doesn't fit this servo.

Anyway, these little Broncos are a hit with my sons. Ever since dad has been building the SCX10.3 Bronco, they've wanted Broncos, and these hit the spot for them. They love to drive theirs while I drive mine.

Just picked my trx-4m yesterday on a wim, super fun little truck. Thanks for the tip on the steering servo! They're great for driving over your pets too ;)

You're welcome! Thank my son for breaking his servo.

And thanks AK. It has been neat to see how interested they are in them. The one of them whose more mechanically inclined likes to remove and re-install the wheels and tires.
