I recently got this ntc3 roller off another member on here specifically for an electric/rally conversion.
mods so far
- removed all nitro stuff
- switched steering servo to left side
- custom aluminum chassis brace/ battery holder to replace the stock electronics tray
- custom motor mount which doubles as the center bulkhead piece
- longer shocks (from 1/16 nitro vulkan buggy)
The car handles suprisingly well in the dirt and loves to take a beating. I still need to get a brushless system for it and find some bigger jumps:lol:

Nice, I always wanted one of those. May I make a suggestion? Put a couple of coils of spring from a Bic pen or its like into the dogbone cups to keep the dogbone centered. It looks like its right on the edge in that last pic and if the suspension goes to either lock (up or down) the dogbone might pop out and bind.

Hmm... Maybe look into some longer drive cups? I went through CVD's on my TC3 for that reason, they would pop out just enough if I tagged a board and then would bend. Went back to dogbones after that with the springs, never had another problem. Something to keep in mind. Always wanted to get the Rally kit for my TC3, just never did.

Yea they make the rally conversion for the electric to make it 200mm and give it a lil more travel, but they don't make anything for the nitro. I've been beatin the crap out of it and haven't had any drive train problems yet, but we'll see:lol:
