DURACOAT the ultimate tuff paint!

This looks great for my truggy chassis.... but would it work on a hardbody???

Thanks. I don't know if I'm the best test subject though. Somehow I have a feeling this thing is going to spend most of it's life sitting on a shelf as I'm gonna be too afraid to bang it up.:lmao:

whats the point in building it then maybe im dif

This stuff is very tuff. Another good option for those who dont have an air brush is sold buy Brownells in a spray can. It also can be air or heat dried. Most std colors are covered. We used to use it on police shotguns and it held up great. Even where the slide runs the mag tube would only have minimal scoring.

Just look under their gun finish section

I used it with another club member for 5 trucks at MSD. Great coverage, lays down nicely and plenty of colors available. Not sure I would advise it's use on styrene or Lexan as I think the underlying materials would let the paint down. On metal tube work i will say it looks great and durability is beyond great. I did 3 coats on my chassis. You definatly want to let it cure for a full day before doing any reassembly on the chassis.
