Do you have one of those crazy bright light bars that runs on 12 volts (or 3S Lipo) and also have lights that run from 6 volts (receiver voltage)?

This controller works on a three position channel or linear channel and will let you have your lights off, or just the low voltage lights or both the low and high voltage lights on.

  1. Off
  2. 6 volt lights on
  3. 6 volt and 12 volt lights on

I use a prototype of this controller on my Wraith. The LV output runs the Axial Simple LED Controller that came with the wraith and the HV output runs the light bar that I got from Crawler-Dad that needs 3S Lipo voltage to operate.
Sometimes the lightbar is just too bright and I only run the simple LEDs but with a flip of the switch, they all come on!

Well by golly thats kind of what I did with your external battery control and a bec. Yours looks a heck of a lot cleaner."thumbsup"

I just installed one of these using my 4PL. Works perfect.

I run an Axial light kit for the headlights and VP Lite bar for the roof. I'll add the brake lights later. But super happy with it.

What about dual lines both at 12 volts but a dimmer only on one? I would actually love that. That way I can turn my rock light off and on and dim my light bar. I have your single light dimmer already.

I can build thaf for you.

Send me a PM and I will get you fixed up.

Im running my lightbar with this controller and a 3s 800mah thor battery. Do you recommend a lipo cutoff or a voltage meter to monitor?

Use whatever you have - I don't have a plug in Lip Cutoff, but I do have a Lipo alarm that plugs into a balance port.

If at all possible, plug the controller's battery connection in line between your battery and ESC so that the ESC can take care of monitoring the battery.
