i like the idea!

??
add a "pouch" around the radio "steering" for your hands to tuck into
to help shield your hands from the wind/cold.??

maybe even embroider the users name/handle on the bag.??

The Wheel Sleeve idea has now been mentioned a few times.
We are currently working to integrate some type of flaps or something.
Got a couple solutions, we'll see what works best.
As for the embroidery, there might be an possibility of screen printing.
Which would bring in the talents of Freq-E and DMG, for both high-quality graphics, and second-to-none screen printing!

Awesome, looks sweet. definitely grabs my attention, i was close to buying some silicone heat pads the other day and put heated grips on my radio. This may be a simpler solution though...

We've made a few modifications to help accommodate a larger
variety of radios. And also to give you easier access
to your epa's and 3rd & 4th channel functions.

The biggest overall change to the design will allow you to drive with, or without a glove.
The new "flap" helps protect your fingers from the cold if you choose to not wear a glove.

It also allows better access to your Epa's...or just fold it out of the way if you choose to wear a glove.

After inserting you hand into the "TransMitten"...

Simply adjust the zipper to fit your wrist size.

Shown here, is the external tool pouch.
Allowing you to have a couple of common hex drivers "at the ready"
while your out on the trail.

It looks like the current polling results show an 89% vote
in favor of bringing the "TransMitten" to production!

Weather here in the midwest has been cold & snowy to say the least.
And we've been using them during our scale runs, with much success!
The final design seems to be the best at fit, convenience, and insertion of your radio in a snap!
Another advantage that makes these nice, is you can toss your radio down almost anywhere in a hurry.
Due to the fact that it's protected from the muck by the "TransMitten".

very good idea indeed!! my .02$ worth would be a waterproof outer shell wich would also add to wind proofing and maybe a pouch on the inside that you could slide a heat pack into! I live in Northern Maine and try to wheel all winter but the cold is just too much at times especially on the hands. I use air activated heat packs often while ice fishing or snow sledding and they have saved my hands many times from frostbite and I know from experience that 1 of these things inside the "transmitten" would keep your paws nice and toasty! ,great product all the same"thumbsup"

Sourcing material for a "weather resistant" version as well!
There's plenty of room in there for a heat pack, or whatever.
But in trying to keep the price point low, we don't intend on adding anything more to this model.
