What are the major differences between the redcat gen 7 sport and pro? I was originally going to get the sport but now I'm leaning towards the pro. Is the pro really worth the extra money? Are the axles any better on the pro?

It's a $50 difference, the main perfornce hard parts on Pro metal diff couplers, and cv axles that many have issue with as they use the Sport which has plastic couplers and dog bone axles I think the internal cage and flares are cool. The stuff on top, not so much.
Some hardcore guys will go on about stuff they have to replace. I haven't had any disasters.
If you are recreational, I think the PRO is a worthwhile upgrade.
BTW - The steering horn is plastic, and out front. Either way, order a metal replacement when you get the truck. Thank me later.

Agreed, for the "scaler", the stuff on top is a nice touch, but I took it off of my daughters, as it would just make it too top heavy for a beginner. The hinge mount body is pretty cool to. I taped off the center of the velcro, as it was too strong and would cause damage to the body over time.

I think they are a decent first crawler and as I stated in your other thread, I think the added cost is worth it for what you receive. "thumbsup"

Good advice. I'm not a fan of the stuff on top. This will be my first crawler. Look up big Buddha's rc ranch on youtube . That is where I will be mostly driving.
