Scale GTG at Rock City Mt. Diablo Nov 8, 2014.
Another trip to Rock City is here again. If you didn't make it to the last Rock City gtg, you should know that this place has the ultimate scale terrain. If you crossed the Sierras with MOAB in a scale form you would get Rock City. We are going to meet at the usual parking lot at Rock City at 9:30am. If there is anybody that would like to join us that is not familiar with Rock City, pm me and I can meet at Green Valley Elementary School on Diablo rd. in Danville CA 94526 at 9:00am in the front parking lot. We will meet there and carpool up the mountain to save in parking fees that is $10. RC vehicle are not allowed in regional parks. We have been crawling there for years and have had no problems with Rangers. We just don't have RC equipment out while going through the gate. once on the trail, I have never been confronted by anybody regarding the rules. The worst thing we will come up against is little kids that are very curious and love to jump right in your best line. Bring water and snacks. There is a bathroom near the rocks. Everyone is welcome, so if you are going, post up in the Diablo Crawlers thread, so we know who to expect that morning .
