daniels needs a home for a 500kv ROC 412 or Suzuki Jimney goes RECON G6

Installed the active locker from rcmart in reimforced gears and put the gearbox together with greased h-speed bearings and all m3 screws.

that should help a bit for traction, though it seems more like a spool than a locker. Have you done any traction aids in the front yet? I dont like locked fronts and usually just do a limit slip, I have been telling people about this mod using macks swimming ear plugs in the diff, they are 100% silicone and dont hurt the gears while still allowing some slip so the truck can turn better than locked.

Currently I take the truck apart and upgrade it with all the nice parts I got in the meanwhile - and yes I will add more weight to the front and a softer suspension setup.

I prefer to run both diffs locked - for Austrian/Hungarian and RECON G6 events it is the way to go.

An relocating the upper arm to allow for more movement!

Lot's of clearance in the middle of the car!
The steering is well hidden but accesible!

The RECON G6 Birth Day Bash is right around the corner so it was time to finish the car!

Mounted the HPI Cage and Drivers in the Body - and uses some scrap Lexan to make the rear nice aswell!

From another scrap part of Lexan I fabed a very light roof carrier to transport my Sandladders.

Cheers
Daniel

This rig is looking sweet, loving your creativity and ideas wrenching on a Tamiya vehicle. Wondering if you have considered shaving those arms? They look to be universal from left to right, and has nubs or mounting holes for the shocks on both sides, resulting in an unused hole on the bottom(circled in green). They look to hang down a bit, possibly something that would hang up on obstacles? Every bit of ground clearance helps!

Have fun and I hope you complete the G6!!

Thank you for the feedback and the wishes!

This change is on my list of Todo's - but I will leave in less than 24 hours and don't know if I will be able to change it. At one point I was hoping to use the second hole for long shocks - but that is impossible and obsolote now.

While DRIVNMF is doing his thing I finally had time to mount the plastic rocksliders i prepared back in Austria!
