Rock Stacker
Hi ive been working on this for about 2 mounths now, and thought i might show everyone what ive been doing....
The truck is built on a tcs c trail chassis, with axial axles, axial links, axial shocks set up in drop, traxxas xl5 esc, traxxas radio stuff, novak 55 motor, proline flatirons on some vintage car wheels. some random HT servo. 12 inch wheel base
I started the body with some stiff craft cardboard, which i then covered completly in fiberglass. The body is not an exat rep of the real thing b/c i wanted rounded rear wheels wells instead of the square ones the real thing, thats about the only non replica thing about it. although i did use styles from both the 40's and 50's style willys. I still have to cut the tail gate out of the rear just like the military ones, make a grill, and front inner wheel wells.
Planning on make an interior for it, which should be farly easy b/c the real ones didnt really have much in the way of interior.....
I still have some more bondo filling to do and some more sanding and shaping around the wheel wells.....
I also have some army green for the paint!
Heres the pics..
