CowRC Web Rep (aka Budhatrain) here with a CowRC quick tip! Now that you own some of the Cow Performance Pit Mats let’s talk about transportation. Ideally the Work Mats (ones with foam boarders and parts trays) are better for home use and the Flat Mats (you know… the flat ones), are better for travel. I say pick up both so you are covered :)

My first purchase was a Jumbo Screw Catcher Work Mat. With its’ JUMBO size, foam boarders, and parts trays, I have kept this one home. But over the past couple years I have accumulated a wide variety of flat mats, Pro and Standard Mag. These are my “to go” mats and I take with me wherever I might setup a pit table. My preferred choice of transportation is actually reusing the packaging that CowRC ships them in :) Strong packaging and they do a great job keeping everything flat and protected.

However, the flat mats were designed so that you also can “roll” the mat. Roll the “Pro Mag” no tighter than 6” and the “Standard Mag” no tighter than 3” (remember WHITE SIDE OUT). When unrolled, the vinyl will take a short time to flatten out, but they do flatten out. WHITE SIDE OUT helps this happen properly. Anything tighter than the suggested diameters and you risk damaging the magnetic vinyl (it happens).

Thanks for looking, feel free to share what you do to transport your Cow Performance Pit Mats!
