Hey all,
I'm putting together a truck with most of the parts I have laying around. I've got a fat viper going on with a brand new injora trans. Does anybody put grease in the transmissions or just run them how they come.
My other question is, can I use two flysky gt5 transmitters at the same time? Not two for the same truck, but one for one truck and one for a different one, of they are both bound to both rxs. Hope that makes sense.

You should be fine running 2 trucks with different GT5s. I know my old GT3b will talk to multiple receivers at the same time but does not cross talk to others or is not paired to. That's mostly a worry from the old AM days of crystals.

If the tranny is dry I'd put a little grease in it. Running stuff dry I'd noisy and accelerates wear.

Thanks for the reply. I've always just used wheel bearing grease, but that's been on the 10th scale stuff. Do you think that would be OK with the little stuff?

Something sticky. Marine grease or a bearing grease should be fine. I wouldnt pack it full but I would make sure plenty is in there. Itll end up mostly being flung off the gears anyways.

Sorry for all the odd wording. My phone thinks it is smarter than me and replaces words then when Im in a hurry and dont proofread I sound like more of an idiot and I already am.

I love to pack that grease in, lol. I crawl on coastal rocks with lots of salty water so I figure it can’t hurt. Plus with my little truck it’s some extra weight down low, lol.
