Comps in Texas?

It depends on your definition of competition. Are you looking to be challenged driving on course, or have your model judged? There has been a lot of fractioning on rc crawling in Texas. It seems most groups use Facebook to communicate. The majority of cars are 1.9 scale oriented trucks that are competing using either Sorrca modeling rules or made up rules of their own.

Facebook is the easiest place to find events. Rig Killer Comps does different comps around Texas. He does normal comps but also 2 and 3 person team events. They can live up their name. Definitely need a winch and some spare parts. There's also a group with Alamo in the name not too far from you. I've seen them post stuff but never been to one of their events.

Texas Crawlfest is coming up in a couple months and isnt too far from you.
