Well, That's 4 down and 3 to go. Thank you all once again for coming out to our little nerd fest. I had alot of fun as usual. A speacial thanx to Denny for Manning the score sheets as well as Eric and Andy for taking care of the first course. I think it went well considering none of us had ever crawled this spot until today. I'll try to get another vid together as I get time. Please post any pics you may have.

I look forward to seeing you all at the next event at Oakes.
So dust off your awesome and bring it. There is cash to be won!!!

My only "still" pic of the day, but a good one:

Fuel conservation

If anyone wants to car pool let me know. I am planning to be there around 9:20 wich means on the freeway by 8:20ish.

Please note:
The gates at oakes will be open between 9:45 and 10:15am.
For those interested in car pooling I think we will be meeting at Cory's and leaving from there. We should be leaving for the comp at 8:30-8:40. Please allow enough time to transfer your gear.
I don't know Cory's address but we will meet outside at the corner of Indianola Ave and Como (about .25 miles south of E North Broadway+ Indianola). Park on Como, west of Indianola. We will be outside.

Cory if I have mispoke, please correct me.

Bfgtg

I need some feedback here.

It looks like the next BFGTG at Oakes has fallen on one of our series dates. I wanted to get an idea of how the majority of you would like to deal with this. I for one would like to go to the GTG as it gives us the chance to see crawling outside of our comfort zone(so to speak)
There are a few options here:
1. Leave the series date as is and give a DNS total of 150 points for all that skip it for Oakes.( I will be at Oakes)
2. Move our event to the 9th (since none of our guys comp in super class that I know of)
3. Create a Rain date for this event.
4. Use the scores for Oakes event for our series. We would re-do math to progressive scoring. This takes scoring out of our hands.(Could get messy)

My current Fave would be to do it on the 9th and invite those from abroad to come to our comp. This will let us share our local spots and perhaps sweeten the pot with a touch more cash. I dont think the supper class at Oakes will be too huge and folks may want more 2.2 comp time while in town.

So..... what do you fellas think?

sucks to be me...i have to miss both:cry::cry:

I vote for another weekend, based on the possibility of something breaking at the BFGTG and this will allow more time to repair the problem.

But, I'll do the BFGTG on the 8th and happily compete again the next day.

Matters not to me.
