Steering linkage and pinion gear the two times I saw them broke. But they were way out of there element at a scale adventure. Way too fast to crawl through gates so they were bouncing off everything. So it's hard to say if it was a week point on the rig or just a lack of control at its slowest speed. Mamba max esc would do it to tame the power.

It's a pretty fun game. Try world of tanks on PC. Free game as well.
